My friend Amalia Galpert and I went to the river this past week to see what was happening. (We stayed 6′ apart the whole time!) Not sure what those beavers are up to right now, they still haven’t rebuilt the dam that washed out back in mid-March!
We found lots of exposed bank dens, some of their openings with fresh beaver chews present. Wondering why they aren’t rebuilding their dam to protect these beaver dens? They are obviously visiting them if not sleeping in them. What is happening?
