It’s amazing to watch new dams appear in the springtime. This one, downstream from our main dam, has been slowly growing over the past few weeks. Lots of freshly chewed sticks have been added to the dam. Lots of beaver scat littering the bottom of the river. And the banks of the river, swelling and expanding.
And that’s not all that is swelling and expanding! We suspect this new dam is being created by the two year olds who recently departed from our main dam. And you know what that means?
