Come learn more about beaver dam analogs and process-based restoration on the Central Coast!

This day-long workshop will be an educational and interactive experience into process-based restoration techniques, geared for agencies, local non-profits and community members.  This will be a hands-on introduction into the “how and why” of beaver dam analogs on the Central Coast.

What To Expect:

• Presentations on process-based restoration (PBR), including permitting pathways
• Guided tour of an active restoration site on Walters Creek
• Hands-on building and maintenance of beaver dam analogs and head cut erosion treatments

Participants will leave with a better understanding of what it takes to implement process-based restoration projects and the benefits of using this restoration method.  Heavy rain will cancel the hands-on portion of the workshop.
