In the Summer of 2025, we launched our inaugural Ríos Bebibles youth water quality and cultural education program.
Ríos Bebibles, which engaged Paso Robles youth in water quality testing and cultural and ecological education on the Salinas River, was funded by a 2024 Central Coast Community-Based Water Quality grant from the Rose Foundation. The name Ríos Bebibles means “Drinkable Rivers” in Spanish—a nod to the wonderful Netherlands-based nonprofit organization, Drinkable Rivers, whose water quality testing kits we used for the program.

Now, we are pleased to announce the publication of our Ríos Bebibles 2025 Program Report!
The Program Report shares the story of our summer: the youth participants’ experiences, their artwork, and the results of our water quality testing.

Sharing Our Gratitude

At the end of the program, we gathered with the youth participants, their families, and our community partners to celebrate the completion of our inaugural Ríos Bebibles youth summer program. We are incredibly grateful to all of the organizations and people that made this unforgettable program possible.
