Beaver Dam Monitoring Program
Our volunteer Beaver Dam Monitoring Program monitors the health of our local beaver population on the Salinas River and other waterways on the Central Coast.

River Cleanups
River cleanups are back! Join us in picking up trash in the Salinas River. Participating in river cleanups is a great way to make a difference, explore the river, and connect with community.

Connect us with resources
Office space – The SLO Beaver Brigade is currently in need of office space (ideally with some storage space for river monitoring supplies such as waders, SD cards, and batteries for webcams) for our small staff.
Do you or someone you know have such a space that could be donated, perhaps with a longer-term arrangement for paying rent in the future? Please email Audrey at audrey@slobeaverbrigade.com.

Learn about future events
Throughout the year, we participate in recurring and one-off events to keep our rivers and creeks healthy. We work to educate folks around beavers in San Luis Obispo County and the work they do to replenish our groundwater, provide fire refugia, and increase the quality and quantity of water in our creeks and rivers.
Thank you so much for your interest in supporting our organization, the beavers in SLO County and the overall health of our watersheds. We are in this for the long-term health of our region, and the more arms linked together, the longer we can go.
